One of my favorite quotes.
I am convinced that I am the slowest runner ever. But who cares? I am still getting that cardio in. People get all consumed with...
The Chemicals of Feeling
I’ve been pondering ways to be more productive/efficent; this article popped up while I was surfing through highexistence.com and I thought it was an intriguing idea to take into consideration..
Everyone keeps asking how China was..
To be honest, it’s hard to describe. The entire experience was more about inner growth and self-discovery than it was about any one sight seeing outing or any one observation I made… It was a flood of nuances; I was drowning in the unfamiliar. My mind could rarely focus on one oddity for long enough to dissect it’s cause or purpose in that strange, alternate universe that was Beijing. It was more about learning to cope; to survive. It was about finding the strength within to create a life worth living in a world that was far different than the one I am used to participating in.
China was.. a TRIP. That’s for sure. ;)
“1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.”
“We were born in this society, we grew up in this society. And we learn to be like everyone else, playing nonsense all the time.”
“the real mission you have in life is to make yourself happy, and in order to be happy, you have to look at what you believe, the way you judge yourself, the way you victimize yourself”
“Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art.”
“People are starving for love, not knowing their heart is a magical kitchen. Open your heart. Open your magical kitchen and refuse to walk around the world begging for love. In your heart is all the love you need. Your heart can create any amount of love, not just for yourself, but for the whole world. ”
“humans are born in truth, but we grow up believing in lies. one of the biggest lies in the story of humanity is the lie of our imperfection.”
“there is no need to justify what we are. there is no need to work hard to become what we are not. we just need to return to our integrity, to the way we were before we learned to speak. perfect. as little children, we are authentic. only the present time is real for us; wo don’t care about the past, and we aren’t worried about the future. we enjoy life; we want to explore and have fun. nobody teaches us to be that way; we are born that way.”
“We are the same, you and I. We are images of light.”
